Diese Norm legt Anforderungen fest für Fittings mit Gewinde, Nennweiten 6 mm bis einschließlich 150 mm, aus geschweißten oder nahtlosen Rohren, Schmiedestücken, Platten und gewalzten Stäben, die für den Transport von Flüssigkeiten und Gas bei einem Arbeitsdruck bis 50 bar für vorgefertigte Fittings und 100 bar für geschmiedete und nahtlose Fittings verwendet werden. Diese Norm gilt für Fittings, Kappen und Stopfen aus Stahlrohr mit Gewinde nach prEN 10xxx und prEN 10yyy.
