Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen für die Oberflächenbehandlung, Werkstoffe, Anwendung, Inspektion und Prüfung von inneren Schutzbeschichtungen und Auskleidungssystemen fest, die für die Korrosionsschutzanwendung auf Innenflächen von Stahltanklagern für Rohöl, Kohlenwasserstoffe und Wasser vorgesehen sind.
Es deckt sowohl neue Konstruktionen und Instandsetzungen von Innenbeschichtungen und Auskleidungen eines Tanks als auch die Reparatur fehlerhafter und zersetzter Beschichtungen/Auskleidungen ab.
Dieses Dokument enthält darüber hinaus die Mindestanforderungen für die Leistungsprüfung der mit Beschichtung/Auskleidung versehenen Proben durch den Kunden sowie die entsprechenden Annahmekriterien.
