Die Produkte können eine transparente, nicht aus PVC bestehende Oberflächenausführung enthalten.
Dieses Dokument enthält, um den Verbraucher bei seiner Auswahl zu unterstützen, ein Klassifizierungssystem (siehe ISO 10874) auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wofür diese Bodenbeläge zufriedenstellend eingesetzt werden können. Die Norm legt auch die Anforderungen zur Kennzeichnung fest.
