Die vorliegende Norm legt allgemeine und maßliche Anforderungen an die Ausführung und Funktionsfähigkeit von 24°-Schneidringverschraubungen fest, die für die Verwendung mit Stahlrohren und Rohren aus Nichteisenmetallen mit einem Außendurchmesser von 4 mm bis enschließlich 42 mm geeeignet sind. Diese Rohrverschraubungen sind für hydraulische oder pneumatische Kraftübertragungen und allgemeine Anwendungen in dem in diesem Teil der ISO 8434 festgelegten Temperatur- und Druckbereich vorgesehen. Sie sind für die Verschraubung von Rohren mit geraden Enden und Schlaucharmaturen mit Einschraublöchern nach ISO 6149-1, ISO 1179-1 und ISO 9974-1 vorgesehen. Anmerkungen: 1 Für Neukonstruktionen in hydraulischen Kraftübertragungsystemen siehe Anforderungen in 9.3. 2 Für Anwendungsfälle außerhalb des in dieser Norm festgelegten Druck- und/oder Temperaturbereichs siehe 5.4.
