Dieser Teil der 62074 gilt für Lichtwellenleiter-Wellenlängenmultiplex-(WDM-)Bauteile. Diese besitzen die folgenden allgemeinen Eigenschaften: - Sie sind passiv, d. h. sie enthalten keine optoelektronischen oder sonstigen Wandlerelemente; sie dürfen jedoch eine Temperaturregelung nur zum Zwecke der Kennwertstabilisierung des Bauteils benutzen; optische Schaltfunktionen sind ausgeschlossen. - Sie besitzen drei oder mehr Anschlüsse für den Eintritt und/oder Austritt der optischen Leistung und verteilen die optische Leistung in vorbestimmter Weise wellenlängenabhängig auf diese Anschlüsse. - Die Anschlüsse sind Lichtwellenleiter oder Lichtwellenleiter-Steckverbinder. Diese Norm legt einheitliche Anforderungen für Folgendes fest: - optische, mechanische und umweltbezogene Eigenschaften.
