Dieser Teil von ISO 19232 legt die Mindestbildgütezahlen fest, um eine gleichmäßige Qualität der Durchstrahlungsprüfung sicherzustellen. Dieser Teil ist anwendbar für die zwei Arten von Bildgüteprüfkörpern, wie in ISO 19232-1 für Draht-BPK und in ISO 19232-2 für Stufe/Loch-BPK beschrieben, und für die zwei in ISO 5579 beschriebenen Techniken. Für die beiden Klassen der in ISO 5579 beschriebenen Techniken und für Eisenwerkstoffe werden Werte festgelegt.
