Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen an Textilfördergurte mit Gummi- und/oder Kunststoff-Deckplatten für allgemeine Anwendungen über Tage auf flachen oder gemuldeten Tragrollen fest. Diese Internationale Norm ist nicht anwendbar oder gültig für leichte Fördergurte nach ISO 21183-1. Einzelheiten, die keine Anforderungen dieser Internationalen Norm, sondern zwischen Hersteller und Abnehmer zu vereinbaren sind, sind im Anhang A aufgenommen. Eine Liste von Einzelheiten, die gedacht ist dem Abnehmer des Gurtes bei einer Anfrage mitzuliefern, ist im Anhang B gegeben.
