Diese Europäische Norm legt die sicherheitstechnischen, gesundheitlichen und funktionellen Anforderungen
an elektrische Kleinspannungsanlagen für DC 12 V im Wohnbereich von Caravans fest. Sie beinhaltet die
Gestaltung des Caravansystems und seinen Anschluss an das System des Zugfahrzeugs.
Diese Europäische Norm legt auch die Anforderungen an die Kleinspannungsleistungsabgabe von
Niederspannungs-(LV-)Geräten fest, die benutzt werden dürfen, um eine Kleinspannungsversorgung zu
sichern, aber sie legt nicht die Sicherheitsanforderungen, technischen und funktionellen Anforderungen an
Niederspannungsgeräte und -anlagen fest. Anforderungen an Niederspannungsanlagen sind in
HD 60364-7-721 festgelegt.
