Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen an Kunststoffschläuche mit Textileinlage für allgemeine
Anwendungen mit Wasser fest.
Drei Arten von Schläuchen sind entsprechend ihrer Eignung für betriebliche Anforderungen beschrieben, wie
z. B. für Umgebungs- und Wassertemperaturbereiche von:
- Umgebungstemperaturen: -10 °C bis +60 °C;
- Betriebstemperaturbereich: 0 °C bis +60 °C.
Diese Schläuche sind nicht vorgesehen für die Verwendung beim Transport von Trinkwasser, an Waschmaschineneinlässen,
bei der Brandbekämpfung, bei speziellen Landwirtschaftsmaschinen oder als Gartenschlauch
für den privaten Gebrauch.
