Dieser Teil von ISO/DIS 15877 legt Anforderungen an Formstücke aus chloriertem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-C) für Rohrleitungssysteme fest, die in der Warm- und Kaltwasserinstallation innerhalb von Gebäuden für den Transport von Trink- oder Brauchwasser (Hausinstallation) und in Heizungsanlagen unter Berücksichtigung des betreffenden zulässigen Betriebsdruckes und der für die jeweilige Anwendungs-klasse geltenden Temperaturen (siehe Tabelle 1 von ISO/DIS 15877-1:2006) eingesetzt werden. Diese Norm enthält Festlegungen zu Anwendungsklassen, die sich auf Betriebsbedingungen beziehen, sowie Festlegungen über zulässige Betriebsdrücke. Diese Norm gilt nicht, wenn für TD, Tmax und Tmal höhere als die in Tabelle 1 von ISO/DIS 15877-1:2006 aufgeführten Werte zugrunde gelegt werden.
