Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen und die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für alle synthetisch hergestellten und natürlichen Eisenoxid-Pigmente, in trockenem Zustand fest. Diese Pigmente sind zur allgemeinen Verwendung geeignet und durch die Colour Index-Nummern Rot 101 und 102, Gelb 42 und 43, Braun 6 und 7 sowie Schwarz 11 charakterisiert und schließen schnell dispergierbare Pigmente.
