Die ÖNORM beschreibt weder die Bedeutung der Strukturelemente noch gibt sie ein Format vor, das für den direkten Ausdruck oder für die Bildschirmansicht geeignet ist. In einem informativen Anhang wird ein Beispiel für die Anwendung von ClaML angeführt. Weiters finden sich Empfehlungen für Attribute.
